The 93PS is a 3:3 (three-phase in and out) UPS from 8 to 40 kW, with up to 99% efficiency in Energy Saver System and above 96% in full double conversion. Its unity (1.0) output power factor means, in Eaton’s words, up to 20% more real power than many UPSs in its class, so a given kVA frame supports more kW of IT load. ESS switches to double conversion in under 2 ms, and the Variable Module Management System keeps efficiency high at low or redundant load. Power modules are hot-swappable (effective replacement MTTR near zero; the swap itself typically under 10 minutes), every model has built-in back-feed protection per IEC 62040-1, and acoustic noise is under 60 dBA in double conversion and under 47 dBA in ESS. Up to eight frames parallel with HotSync for a system to 320 kW.
